How we handle your details

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, we get what you type into the form: your name and email address, your phone number if you give one, your kind of business and town, the rooms and extras you pick, and any message. We use it to reply to you, prepare a quote and plan the shoot. If you email us, we get your message and your email address.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this site. We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it for us

Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details when you visit, and it keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site running and secure.

Resend sends your quote request to our inbox and a copy to you. Google runs our business email, where your request is kept.

If the form can't send your request, it opens your own email app with your answers filled in, and the message goes through your email provider instead.

Our tours and other sites

Our 360° tours play in an external tour viewer. It only loads when you press the button to start a tour. From then on your browser connects to the tour-hosting service, whose own privacy policy applies. You can ask us for details about that service.

The links to our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube pages take you to those sites, where their policies apply.

Cookies and saved settings

This site doesn't set cookies of its own. If you change a setting in the accessibility panel, your choices are saved in your browser's local storage so they stay in place as you move between pages. They aren't sent to us or to anyone else, and the panel doesn't record how you use it. Use "Reset all" in the panel, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove them.

People in our tours

Our tours show the inside of the businesses we shoot. If you appear in one and want to be blurred or taken out, email us with the tour's name and the room you're in, and we'll sort it out with the business.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and emails while we're quoting or working with you, and afterwards as a record of the job.

Your choices

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. We'll delete them unless we have to keep them for tax or other legal records. Email doug@eyeopenermedia.com and we'll reply.

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their details.
